Potlatch Grant
The special Potlatch Grant is awarded annually to honor John Richards. He demonstrated an unmatched dedication to and support of the EXCEL Foundation through contributions and service. Upon his retirement from the Potlatch Corporation, the company pledged a contribution of $100,000.00 in John Richards' name. Established in October 2000, this award is given to the teacher or group of teachers who exhibit excellence in an effort to be creative and innovative through implementation of an EXCEL Foundation Grant in the area of
science.
